The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, the menu was eclectic. This hidden gem of a restaurant gives great value and now that I found it, I will return often. The edamame appetizer is a flavorful surprise and you get a huge portion. I ordered the pastor tacos - my go to order to get a feel for how a place does tacos. They were the best I have ever had! The presentation, the flavor, the TORTILLAS, were all just so crazy great. The tortillas were very lightly fried so they did not fall apart but were very soft. Such a basic add, but so perfect.
Visit #2 and this time we tried the Southwest egg rolls appetizer, tacos and the shrimp fried rice. Some of the best fried rice I've had and again service was excellent.
Wow! First trip and it will not be my last. The meal was excellent and the pork eggs rolls might be best I have tasted in middle Tennessee. Our server was very helpful explaining the choices. Food was hot and nicely plated. If you in the area stop and try as you won't be disappointed.
This is one of, if not THE best restaurants in Smyrna! The foods amazing. I try something different every time and I've yet to find something I didn't love! Oh and margaritas lovers.... They've got the best margaritas from here to Nashville

This place was such a pleasant surprise. My cousin randomly brought me here and truthfully, I was a little skeptical at first but when I started trying the food, my doubts quickly disappeared. The location is definitely a mom and pop type of vibe but again, the food was so amazing! I truly have no complaints because everything that I ate was a 10/10
I've been here three times now and the food is always tasty. The food doesn't sit in the kitchen for long and it always comes out piping hot, which is great. Small location, but cozy. Nice booths. Great food and great prices.
Wow! One word says it all. I was overjoyed with both the food and the service at Jose's. I have lived in the Smyrna area for many years -- and I'm sure I have passed Jose's many, many times without paying it that much attention. Its location is good and convenient enough. It's just one of those places you might not notice. That would be a huge mistake. The variety of the menu is amazing. I ordered the Chipotle Shrimp dish. I thought I might be more hungry -- so we ordered an egg roll appetizer. The appetizer was wonderful -- but, in all honesty, my eyes were bigger than my stomach. The entre was quite generous -- and the flavors and textures were to die for. I had to take some of it home for lunch the next day. I will add Jose's to my top five choices of local eateries. It's that good.
Called in for takeout and restaurant was pretty empty here during dinner. I was surprisingly thought it would be dinner peak time. Order was ready in timely manner. The lady was so nice and friendly. Food prices is reasonably worth it. Got fish tacos had a good sauce savory with it and the fish was perfectly breaded, Mongolian beef, and Beijing noodles my daughter loved their noodles with chicken. It was all good.
